  I called ahead on my order which was at 5:21 (caller ID) they took my phone number, and when I was done ordering from a guy (that becomes important later) they hung up. I get there at 5:49 and they tell me it was supposed to be a half hour wait... well I tell them they didn't tell me that, plus I'm 2 minutes from 30 minutes, she said, "I heard you speaking to her on the phone and you hung up before she could tell you." That's a straight up lie, and besides that it's been nearly 30 minutes. I ask if they can get it to me and they point to the long line and say at 6:00. I'm normally this would not be a huge deal, but lying to a customer is really poor customer service, which is the definition of the poor rating on this Cafe Rio.

  I'm adding a star for one reason, they actually forgot my chips and salsa, which in itself could have been salt to the wound. I called them and let them know it was too far to drive back, so they agreed to take down my name and correct the mistake next time I came in.

  Decent place to eat for sure. Food is great and something I cannot possibly complain about. For Rexburg, this is not that bad at all. Only thing I wish it had was more customizable drinks (e.g. mint limeades, etc.) instead of just plain fountain drinks (only thing is, that is extremely unrealistic to expect given the little space they do have, being in the middle of an apartment complex). Otherwise, there is no way this place is a trash dump. No way. This is really good food.
